HTM project consists of the implementation of a library containing generic modelling components representing the basic elements of the tram infrastructure, such as tracks, traffic lights, sensors etc. The objective is to provide a flexible simulation environment where HTM employees can build different scenarios and test different control strategies in a quick and safe way before applying them to the physical infrastructure. The results can be assessed through the animation window and statistics gathered during the simulation runs.
