SEN9110 Simulation Masterclass (2024-2025 Q1)

Groups

Both the term papers and the study of a simulation package are carried out in groups. Groups should be around 3-4 persons. By exception, a group size of 2 or 5 will be allowed. In case of a group of 1 or 2, the requirements will be adapted a bit to the small group size.

Group formation takes place in the first class. As some of the topics are tied to a specific MSc-program, forming groups of students from the same background might facilitate writing of the term paper and studying the simulation package. On the other hand, working together with students from another program can also be a nice experience. A multidisciplinary group can also contribute to the quality of the term paper.

Please note that the term paper topic and the simulation package are two independent things. So you don't have to apply the topic of your term paper in the simulation package -- you just study the working of the simulation package independent of the term paper topic.
