Background material for this lecture
- 09 RealTimeControlOfAGVsWithSimulation.mpg The video shows 10 Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) being controlled by an Simple++ / eM-Plant (now Plant Simulation) simulation model with a Web-interface for management. Each of the AGVs has an on-board computer, but is totally dependent on the simulation model for routing, driving speeds, loading and unloading, and safety.
